I did my tresillian training , began at Petersham in 1980 , however i think they were going through changes there and I found some of the older staff training the young girls quite “severe” remember start at 5.30 trying to bath 6 poor screaming infants before taking them to be fed by mum before 8am , etc , however i continued my training and was happier transferrred to willouhby , graduating in 1981 . I remember the chaff mattresses and wicker cots , amongst other memories , it was a much happier place there , my training i think helped me cope with one of my own children who has Cystic fibrosis .
